"I really loved the problem solving aspect of economics, as well as its practical attempts to explain human behavior patterns."
– Marc Rinosa, Class of 2017

It was an economics class with Professor Shostya that convinced me to major in Business Economics. I really loved the problem solving aspect of economics, as well as its practical attempts to explain human behavior patterns. I came to Pace because of its motto of Opportunitas, and am a product of its commitment to fostering leadership and realizing student potential. I’ve had three internships thus far and am highly involved on campus, such as serving as Executive President of the Student Government Association (SGA), and on two of the President’s committees. I also completed the competitive one-week Harvard Business School Summer Venture in Management Program for college seniors, that provides an understanding of the challenges business leaders face, as well as the positive impact they can have on society. Upon graduation, I want to work in consulting, and increase the visibility of underrepresented groups in the corporate world.
