"I made my first movie when I was five years old, so it is no surprise that I’m a Film and Screen studies major."
– Joshua Kennedy, Class of 2016

I made my first movie when I was five years old, so it is no surprise that I’m a Film and Screen studies major. Location, location, location and small class sizes brought me to Pace, and out of the ten feature films I have completed, six have been made here. Airline ’79 (2015), an homage to the cheesy disaster films of the 1970’s, is one for which I transformed a hallway at school into a cabin of an airplane. This past January, Slave Girls on the Moon (2014) won Best Comedy at the Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival, and The Menace with Five Arms (2013) and Dracula A.D. 2015 (2015) were both nominated for Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards, the low budget, online monster-movie equivalent of the Academy Awards. A number of my films are available on www.oldies.com or YouTube. I am currently working on my eleventh film, The Return of Sherlock Holmes, and upon graduation, plan to move to London with my girlfriend Martine and continue to make films there.
