The MPA program at Pace University offers 15-credit certificate programs for professionals seeking to enhance their credentials, but may not be ready to fully commit to a master’s program. The certificate can be completed in one year and all credits count toward the completion of the MPA degree.
The Healthcare Policy and Management certificate is ideal for individuals in management or administrative positions within the health care industry. Courses in this certificate include Health Policy Studies, Health Care Economics, and Hospital and Health Services Administration.
Offered in conjunction with the Master of Public Administration Program, these programs utilize the same facilities and curriculum, and credits earned in them may be applied to the master's program if you decide to matriculate later. Note that the GRE exam is not required for entry into the certificate program; however, students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average to complete the program.
