Staged Reading Series

In addition to having their one-act plays being fully produced in the Repertory Season, the MFA Playwrights’ full-length plays are given a staged reading using the MFA Actors and Directors. This event, hosted by playwright Edward Allan Baker, is open to the public.

When a girl from the Tau Upsilon Alpha sorority decides to take her rapist to court, her sister Monica is plagued with a nightmare that sends her back in time to the Boston Tea Party in an effort to learn how their founders dealt with a similar case. Sisterhood is put to the test in a house divided by public shaming under the patriarchy. This is the War of the Period.
