Welcome to the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) program on Pace University’s New York City Campus.
The Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program is supported by two strong academic departments, chemistry and biology, whose faculty members combine exceptional teaching skills with pioneering published research in their respective fields. The program is supported by fully equipped laboratory facilities for biochemistry and molecular biology, including a new state-of-the-art DNA sequencing facility, pathogen-handling suite, HPLC coupled mass spectrophotometry and advanced spectrophotometric analysis. The program offers the opportunity to pursue thesis research in the Department of Biology, Chemistry or Haskins Laboratories, or at in the Department of Neuronal Cell Signaling at Weil-Cornell Medical School in New York City. For an international experience the thesis may also be taken at the Technical University in Sydney, Australia, where students may be encouraged to continue for a further two years earning a PhD in BMB.
